Jill Bolte Taylor is a neuroscientist who experienced a stroke, and describes in detail what happened to her, what she experienced as it happens.

What sounds terrifying is actually a fascinating, engaging, and uplifting story of passion, persistence, and ultimate success.

When you see and hear her, you'll be astounded that this woman was ever incapacitated.

I urge you to take 20 minutes out of your busy day to watch this. Taylor's presentation itself is a gem, and will have you alternating between tears and laughing out loud. And you'll learn something powerful about human resiliency from her experience, and the outcome. Wonderful!
